The last remaining slot for this year's swingfest edition goes to a new denovali artist: ONEIROGEN from New York City - he will just play this exclusive flight in gig in europe - you can find the first 2 tracks of his work via www.denovali.com/oneirogen - "ONEIROGEN is Mario Diaz de Leon, a composer and multi-instrumentalist residing in NYC. “Hypnotic walls of shimmering sound” perhaps describe his aesthetic most broadly, whether his medium is electric guitar, electronics, or acoustic instruments. His influences include modern composers such as Scelsi and Ligeti, underground metal, and noise electronics".

We're happy to present you a new denovali artist which also will perform at this year's Swingfest edition: THE NEST - Comprising of Christoph Clöser (Bohren & der Club of Gore), Tycho Schottelius (Desmond Denker), Thomas Mahmoud & Gerald Mandl (Tannhäuser Sterben & das Tod) The Nest have created their own blend of electronic sounds, jazz and noise across various improvisational sessions recorded live in Cologne in 2011. The debut album will be released in July 2012 via Denovali Records.

Three further confirmations for day one: Like last year we're starting the festival with a scandinavian band: DOMINIC from Norway. Also on stage on day one will be the two australian Denovali Records artists HEIRS and A DEAD FOREST INDEX. Thanks a lot.

We've already announced it some days ago - there will be a nice TOUCH anniversary special on day one of the festival. Beyond ACHIM MOHNÉ (GER) the wonderful legend PHILIP JECK (UK) will present his compositions created with record players and samples. Additionally the label owner MIKE HARDING will showcase a lecture and will interview Philip Jeck. More news soonish.

We're very happy to present you the first performer for this year's Denovali Swingfest edition: it's the German media artist ACHIM MOHNÉ. Here you can find a video of his installation "Aufzeichnungen aus dem Kellerloch" ::: Further information concerning his work is available via www.achimmohne.de ::: Achim's performance will be part of a 30 years TOUCH anniversary special we'll present you on day one of the festival.
