"Screamo without the emo! We assisted in the release of this fantastic split between two old-school screamo bands in the vein of such greats as Pg. 99 and City of Caterpillar. This is a little different from what might be expected of us, but is no less worthy of the Murkhouse name! Antilles have a jagged and damaged sound with vicious vocals, aggressive drumming, and jangly guitar playing with a subtle, almost jazzy vibe at times. On the other side, Trifle Tower assault the listener with a blast of lo-fi angst and fury. Strong dynamics and layered melodies give off the impression of an almost black metal approach to songwriting. A sample from each side can be heard in the player on our page. Limited to 500 copies!
